[Hooray!] It had to be at least 6:50 in the morning, when Mitheel raced into his parents room and jumped on Matt. "Dad! Daad! Come on, Dad, we gotta go. Wake up!" he shook his shoulder. " Dad? Daad. Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad--"
Matt opened one eye and looked at Mello. "Your son...is awake," he yawned.

"I fucking realized that after he sounded like Stewie..." Mello groaned.

Bai was wandering, searching. For what, you ask? She didn't know.

"Dad? Daad, c'mon Dad!" he tugged at Matt's ear, and then went flying into something. "Woah!" recovering, he stood up and headbutted Matt, who turned and looked at him. Mitheel was frowning. "Dad, you promised!"
Matt groaned. "Okay okay, I'm up, I'm up." he sat up and yawned, Mitheel racing out with an excited shout. Racing out the door, he noticed Oliver, who had been lying there. It was almost sunrise, and Liz was awake waiting for it too.
"Hi Tiki," she greeted, using a little pet name she had made up for him.

B called for her daughter quickly. "Don't go over there or I'll slash your throat open. That's where the enemy lives, we took the Death Note from them." "But I wanna slash someone's throat myself!" "Oh well!"

"What'd you promise him this time, Matt?"

"I told him I'd go watch the sunrise with him." slipping tiredly out of bed, Matt followed his son. Mitheel was standing out on a big hill, overlooking the city. Matt trotted up beside him, just as the sun came up over the horizon.
"Woah..." Mitheel gasped, watching as the city lit up with the new sunlight. "It's so pretty!"
"You see that, Mitheel? Everything the light touches is the place you live in."
"Really? Its so big." he looked out over the city excitedly. "What about that other place?" he asked, motioning to a darker place on his left.
"That's a bad place, you must never go there Mitheel," Matt warned.
"Oh. Why?"
"I...I'll tell you later. Go on, go play now. I'm going back to bed," Matt yawned, slinking back into the house.

Bai watched a little boy in the darkness, her red eyes glowing like a Ruby.

"Of course you did. Never promise him that crap again, cuz I like my sleep."

Mitheel trotted off, noticing a grasshopper in the distance. Grinning, he started to slink towards it. "The mighty hunter has cornered his prey..." he leaped for it, but missed, terribly.
"Tiki, what are you doing?" Liz asked, walking over. Mitheel rubbed his head and looked up.
"Pouncing."
"Oh really? Well, keep up the good work," she laughed, going off to play fetch with Oliver.

Bai walked out from the shadows. "Hi." She smiled. "I'm Bai." Her unusually large knife didn't stick out from her pocket.

Mitheel jumped at her voice, but he relaxed when he saw it was just a girl. She looked about his age, so he stood up. "Hi! I'm Mitheel."

"I saw your dad from the shadows. He looks like you. Or is he your brother?" The red eyes flickered from the window back to Mitheel.

"Uh, he's my dad," Mitheel said. "What's up with your eyes?" he asked, looking deep into her red orbs.

"Daddy said that they're just like his, only mine aren't real."

"Oh." Mitheel's own dark blue eyes sparkled as he looked all around. "Where do you live?" he asked. "Do you live around here?"

"Yeah! I live here, in the darkness."

"Cool." Mitheel pointed in the direction of his house. "That's where I live...but you probably already know that." Mitheel tilted his head as he studied Bai's figure. "Not to be nosy or anything but...who are your parents?"

"My parents? Beyond is my daddy and my mommy goes by B. And yours?"

"Well, my Dad is Matt and my Daddy is Mello," he said, remembering Liz's referrance to Matt as his Sire and Mello as his Dam. But those were confusing words-his nicknames worked better for his young mind.

"You have two dads? That's unusual. But it sounds so cool!"

"Yeah! And my Aunty Cici, but she's not really my aunt," Mitheel explained, talking about Liz. The nickname Cici was one she had told him to use, for a reason he would probably never know.

Bai put her thumb up to her mouth, thinking. "Hm....I think my parents told me to stay away from these two people named Mello and Matt...."

"My Dad told me not to ever come over here," Mitheel murmured. "I wonder why though. You don't seem too bad," he said.

"Actually, I'm a lot worse than you think. So far I've killed......3 people! I'm proud of myself." Bai held her head up high as her father called for her. "I gotta go. I'll see you around?"

"I'll see you," Mitheel said, hearing Liz calling for him. "Bye," Mitheel gave a wave, before turning and sprinting off in the opposite direction.

Bai stalked off into the woods, her feelings starting to feel....happy.

Mello woke with a groggy feeling. He walked into the bathroom to shower.

Autumn and Jon were laughing as they turned on the Wii. "I call Mario!"
