The Mysterious Notebook Of Murder~Chapter I

Mello yawned also, still tired.

With that, Mitheel picked up his new pet and headed out to stand in front of the house. It was getting dark, and the city lights gleamed, giving the air a golden glow.

Mello instantly walked to his room and turned on the tv, trying not to stay up late again.

Bored, Matt went into his room and sifted through his piles of stuff to see if he could find anything interesting.

"What'chya looking for?" Mello asked curiously, focusing his eyes on the tv.

"Something interesting," Matt replied, yelping as a dvd fell on his head. "Ah! Fuck!"

"That thing is probably two ounces, and you're saying ouch?!"

"The edge hit me! It hurt my head."

"It's not like the edge had blades in it."

"It still hurt." Matt got up, leaning against the wall, pulling out a cigarette and lighting it.

"Can I have one?" Mello rubbed his arms, freezing like crap.

"Sure." Matt tossed him one, followed by the lighter.

"Thanks," He replied, tossing the lighter back as he started smoking the cigarette.

Matt took a long inhale of smoke, before puffing it out. Suddenly, a book fell on his head. "AH! Ouch...hey, whats this?" he picked it up, looking at it. It was a scrapbook, "Me and Mischief," written on the front, with a picture of Liz and a huge tabby cat. "I didn't know she had another one..." he mumbled.

Mello walked over, and leaned over to see the scrapbook. "Neither did I..... I wonder if her cat died before she got that huge ass cat."

Matt started to look through it. The first one was with her and a kitten, with a christmas-like setting. "She must have gotten this one for christmas," he murmured. Flipping the page, he saw her walking the kitten on one side and playing with him on the other. "Aww, he's kinda cute."

"Er....yeah, I guess so."
