The Mysterious Notebook Of Murder~Chapter I

Liz laid across the couch, bothering Matt as she tried to steal a bag of potato chips from him. "Gimmie the chips!"
"No! They're mine!"
"But I waaaant theeeeem!"
"Too bad! Get your own!"
Mitheel walked in the house, basically unnoticed, and he petted Shasta as she laid on her back. With age, Shasta had turned into a beautiful dog, her gray, white, and black peppered fur was long and thick and her bright blue eyes sparkled.

"Hey, Mitheel! Come play with us!" Jon laughed as they both fell.

Mitheel looked up. "No thanks, I'll pass," he murmured, rubbing Shasta's chest.
"Come now Tiki," Liz grinned, nabbing him by the leg and heaving him up over the couch. "What's wrong? You're all quiet and stuff."
"Nothing's wrong. Promise."

"Did you meet that girl Bai?" Autumn paused the game, staring at Mitheel now. "She's quiet, but she's skilled like her parents...."

"Well yeah. She told me who her parent's were. I mean, she doesn't seem that bad. I think we could be friends..."

"Woah, woah, woah." Mello walked into the room, hearing what his son had said. "Friends with that murderer?! Hell no!"

Mitheel shrank back at Mello's words. "But...but!"
'Mello," Liz said, looking at him. "Think about it. Perhaps a friendship will bring an end to all this meaningless squandering."

"He'd be better off at the fricking Wammy's House for friends! I don't want her ways to rub off on him."

Mitheel patted Oliver's head as the big old cat made his way over to him, putting his head in Mitheel's lap.
Liz rolled her eyes. "Parents restricting their kids choices for friends, puh. Back in my early days, parents didn't care what you did or what friends you had, as long as those friends of yours didn't rob your house or kill someone in the family."

"Back in your day, you put fricking chocolate in your shirt and threw it at me."

"Ah, the good old days."
Matt snorted. "The good old days, when you almost got yourself shot who knows how many times."
"Were you in this? Butt out."

"I'm just surprised I didn't kill you yesterday, with how much you pissed me off."

Autumn un-paused the game. "Matty! Play the winner next round!"

Liz just closed her eyes and grinned.

Matt sighed. "Whatever."

Suddenly, they were interrupted by a howl. Obviously, it was coming from Shasta. Liz opened one eye. "Matt, how many times do I have to tell you, if you don't plan on breeding her, GET HER FIXED!"
"I will! I don't have money now though."
"Then stop spending it on fucking cigarettes and shit and get your dog fixed!"
"Maybe!"
"I'm gonna laugh when some male dog gets excited and digs under the fence at night and she ends up pregnant and you have to take care of her. I will laugh in your face for like, the rest of your life."
"Puh."

"Here's an idea: Get a job, Matty!" Autumn giggled as Jon lost. "CHEATER!" "Nu-uh!"

"Autumn's right."
"Get a job, my ass. I'll get one if I want to."

"GET A DAMN JOB AND DEAL THE FUCK WITH IT." Autumn screamed.

"Jesus Christ, blow my eardrums out whydon'tcha," Matt growled, rubbing his ears at Autumn's outburst.

"Well, I'm tired of hearing your stupid dog whine. Get her fixed with your job."

"Oh whatever."
Liz watched the dog dissappear into the backyard through the dogdoor, and she just sighed.

"How about you get a job in KMart?"

"K-Mart scares me."
"What doesn't scare you?"

"I be he's not scared of games."

"Well nah dip, if Matt was afraid of games he wouldn't play them. Besides, it depends on what kind of game you'd be talking about..."
"Oh shut up, you."

"He's scared of losing to me to Mario Kart!"

"I ain't scared of loosing to you!" Matt hissed.
"Well, you could definitely beat Matt. I totally kicked his ass in Spyro yesterday."
"Did not!"
"Dude, you died like fifteen freaking times. I died like, once."
