Liz went to go find Matt something to eat, and Matt whistled. "Shasta!" he called. From her lonely spot out in the backyard, Shasta's ears twitched at her masters voice. Yipping in excitement, she flew through the dogdoor and over to the couch, jumping up on him, covering Matt's face with slobbery kisses.

"I'm gonna go get some sleep...." Mello mumbled, rubbing the dark bags under his eyes. He walked off to the couch, passing out as soon as he got comfortable. Bai sighed also. "I'd better leave....I'm pretty tired too." She walked out of the bedroom, heading for the door.

Mitheel watched her go, and then ran to her. "Bai! Thanks for coming with me," he murmured. "I never could have done it without you."

Mitheel grinned and hugged her, before releasing. "You go do that," he laughed.

Mitheel closed the door and went off to his room. He was tailed by Lightning, who was excited to see him after his two month absence.

"I'm back...." The bloody knife smelt great to Bai.

Mello was still snoring, starting to fall off the couch. He fell and hit the floor. "I SWARE TO GOD I DIDN'T SHOOT HIM!"

Matt looked over at Mello. He was now crunching on a granola bar. "Mello? Are you alright?"

Mitheel smelled the powerful scent of the blood, and his sensitive nose twitched. "That's really strong," he murmured.

"Arg....I'm fine." His head thumped on the floor, giving up on trying to get up.

"Okay then." Matt curled back up and continued munching happily on his granola bar.

Mello fell back asleep. "So soft...."

Bai rummeged through her pockets, looking for syrup. "ARGG! NO SYRUP!"

Matt finished his granola bar and then went looking for his DS.
