Dimitri sighed, twirling a black strand of hair around his finger, while Light crouched uncomfortably at the tense atmosphere.

"We look exactly alike." "And who're you?" "I am L." Beyond pulled out his knife, very mad at the moment. "Bai- are you telling me you brought this damned man that drove me insane?!" "Yes." "And who're the rest of these people?"

"I'm Mitheel," Mitheel murmured. "Matt and Mello's son." "And I'm Dimitri, s-s-son of Near and Gevanni," Dimitri hissed, wrapping a cloth around his bleeding wound. "I am Andromeda, also the daughter of Near and Gevanni," Andromeda looked over at Beyond with dark, expressionless eyes. "Ivory, son of L and Light," Ivory, who had just appeared huffed. "and I'm Jessamine, daughter of L and Light," Jessamine said, grinning at her brother's huffing.

"Well, it's not a pleasure." B walked out, hissing out the words. "I remember Matt and Mello, but what I didn't know is that they loved eachother. L and Light....such strange names. Along with Near and Gevanni..."

Mitheel looked over at Bai. "Now I know why Dad told me to never come over here..."

"You don't understand it, Mitheel? We live in the shadows...lurking. Waiting to kill anything. But I cannot kill you. Or anyone I know." She whispered, tears streaming from her face.

Mitheel gently took her hand. "And...why's that? Am I different than the others?"

Her hand flung back. "We're all different. I come from murderers, you come from ex-mafia members, they come from SPK members."

Mitheel shook his head. "I mean...am I different from anything?"

"Yes, you are, Mitheel. You're different, and that's why I think of you as my friend."

Mitheel grinned, and wiped the tears off her face. "Will you stop crying then? I don't like seeing you cry."

She backed away. "Stop!" Her eyes flickered back to the normal red.

Mitheel put his hands in his pockets. "What were we doing again?"

Bai turned to face L. "Look, Ryuzaki-" "His real name is L, Bai." "I know this, Dad!" She replied annoyingly. "Anyway, you can see that you both look alike. You drove my dad to insanity." "Yes, I know this."

Ivory tilted his head. "Papa drove someone insane?"

"Yes, he did, Ivory. They called my dad the back-up L. Wouldn't that get annoying?" "Yes, it most likely would..." L chewed his nail, Beyond doing the same exact thing.

"Back-up L?" "Yeah," Mitheel piped up, knowing this story from Liz. "Beyond was originally one of L's successors, but he went insane and started killing people. Then Near became L's stop successor, Mello got mad and left and then Matt followed suit."

"Exactly. And whenever I murder, I do this with a passion. My father was originally nearly killed by Kira. Which is someone I know and respect."

Mitheel rolled his eyes. "Kira, Kira, Kira. That's all I ever hear," he huffed.

"I'll shoot you, right here and now, Mitheel." Her eyes rolled over to Light.

Light looked back at her, eyes narrowed. Everyone proceeded to look at Light.

Her eyes concentrated harder than orange juic was concentrated. The stare was deepened, the more uncomfortable one.

Light crouched down, feeling low under her stare. Mitheel looked over at Bai and raised an eyebrow.

Bai began cackling, happier than normal. Her eyes then wandered to Mitheel, the hard stare solid.

Mitheel didn't flinch. His years of alpha teaching from Liz were starting to show as he stared back.
