Death Note- Another Note Chapter 2

"Nate River, due to die...nevermind, I probably shouldn't stay. But I know when the both of you will die."

"Really? S-s-shinigami eyes-s-s, I'm gues-s-sing," Dimitri said, rolling onto his back. "Anyway, do any of you here perhaps-s-s know of a L Lawliet and a Light Yagami?"
Mitheel shook his head. "My Aunt Cici talks about them, but I've never met them."

"I hate L....so much. It's only because he tried to arrest my father. Ever hear of Beyond Birthday?"

Dimitri nodded. "Yes-s-s. Only because I hang around L's-s-s daughter and son, Jessamine and Ivory."

Bai smirked. "Well, he's my father. Maybe I should meet these....sisters."

Dimitri grinned. "I could s-s-show you them if you'd like."
Mitheel looked over at him. All of those kids he just mentioned...they all have male parents...just like me. "Show me!"

"Perfect, my parents wouldn't mind if I went to someone's house."

Dimitri nodded. "Well then, lets-s-s s-s-see if you can keep up!" with that, he turned and began to sprint in the opposite direction, Mitheel and Lightning hot on his tail.

Bai followed, ahead of them all. "C'mon, I'm faster and you guys are so slooooww."

Dimitri sped up to match her pace, and Mitheel fell in beside them, Lightning easily keeping up.

"I'm barely breaking a sweat here! Hurry it up!!" Bai called, running faster.

Dimitri ran faster, and then began to slow down. "S-s-stop, we're clos-s-se."

She slowed her pace down massivly, almost to a halt. "Great, cuz I was about ready to stop anyway."

Dimitri peered through the trees, where he could see a rather large house. A long haired brunette girl was running around, being chased by a raven haired, rather pale skinned young boy. He was yelling at her, and a white haired girl was watching them, an African gray parrot on her shoulder.

Bai's eyebrows crinkled. "Which one is your sister?" She asked, her eyes turning back to red and glowing once more.

"The white haired one, with the parrot on her shoulder." a small red Irish setter puppy streaked from around the corner to meet Dimitri as he stepped into view. He petted the dog affectionately. "Hello there Apples-s-s." the dog barked at his voice and ran over to Mitheel and Bai, eagerly sniffing them.

Bai backed away. "What is that?!" Her eyes looked up at everyone, curiousity filling her mind. "Car crash, suicide, and old age. Great...." her voice whispered lowly.

"Thats-s-s my dog, Apples-s-s. He's-s-s very s-s-sweet, he won't bite." Mitheel grinned and petted the dog, who yipped and licked at his palms. Andromeda, the white-haired girl went over, curling one of her bangs around her finger. "Dimitri, who are they?" she asked, motioning to Mitheel and Bai with her black eyes.

"I've never seen a dog before. Let alone an animal that was alive and not in my closet."

Dimitri blinked. "Well then..."
"I'm Mitheel," Mitheel greeted, holding out a hand for Andromeda. She carefully shook it, then withdrew her hand.
"I'm Andromeda, but most people call me Riki."

"Where are these....Yagami...or Lawliet children located, Riki?"

Andromeda pointed to the raven-haired boy and the brunette girl. "The brunette is Jessamine. The raven haired one is Ivory. Jessamine is often called Miney and Ivory goes by Ivy." the two lifted their heads from where they were; Jessamine had tackled Ivory and was now sitting on him.

"Interesting....they act so calm but playful." Bai tackled Mitheel. "I hope you realize you weigh more than me, Mitheel." She laughed, her gun slipping out of her pocket.

''Hey'!" Mitheel said as he was tackled. "What did you do that for?!" Ivory and Jessamine trotted over to the newcomers. "Dimitri, who are they?" Jessamine demanded, black eyes scanning them over. She looked a lot like Light, but she had dark bags under her eyes like L and she also had black eyes. Ivory looked almost identical to L, but he had hazel eyes like Light and dark bags under his eyes.

Just about everything dropped out of her pockets. Knives, guns and somehow, her machete. "Oh, shit...." Bai pushed it back. "I'm Bai." Her red eyes turned yet again back to hazel then blue. She noticed the syrup bottle. "There it is!" Bai picked it up and began drinking it.
