Death Note- Another Note Chapter 2

Matt narrowed his eyes. "Why don't I believe you?"
[Bye.]

"I know I'm fine." Her tone raised, threatening. It was more of a 'I'll shoot if you don't shut up, Matt' tone.

"Okay, fine, whatever." Matt flopped back into his lying down position, eyes still on her. Mitheel nudged Bai. "We'd better go..." he murmured.

"No, I'd better go. You have to stay here. I don't want you in anymore trouble."

Mitheel frowned. "Okay." He suddenly pulled out a long necklace with a key at the end. "This is the second key to my room," Mitheel said, giving it to her. "Take it."

She pushed the key back. "Keep it, Matt's probably gonna kill me if your doing this."

"No, you take it. You need it." Mitheel said, pushing it back to her.

"When am I ever going to need it?" She questioned.

Mello heard arguement, deciding to ignore it.

"In case anything happens, it unlocks my door and my window." Mitheel said. "Take it."

"I doubt anything will ever happen, but fine." she stuffed the key into her pocket.

Mitheel nodded. "You'd better go now." he nudged her. "I'll see you soon."

Bai left automatically, no second thoughts. She took one last look at Matt, now knowing how he'd die.

Mitheel watched her go, sadly, and slunk off to his room.

Bai raced home to tell her parents the news.

"How'd it go?" Autumn asked.

Mitheel looked over at her. "Nobody died. That's good right?"

"Oh, damn. I guess so...." she sighed.

Mitheel sighed, curling up in his bed. "I'm going to sleep. Good night." [next day?]

Autumn woke up early. She walked into the kitchen and made some coffee.

Mitheel was still sleeping around that time, and Liz was stretched out on the couch with Oliver, petting his ears. Matt was curled up in his chair, sleeping.

Mello walked out of his bedroom, grabbing a coffee cup and filling it with the coffee.

Mitheel was awakened by Lightning chirping in his ear. "Ngh...what's wrong boy?"

Liz looked over at Mello, smiling. "Hey Mello, watch this." she slinked slowly over to Matt, and then jumped on him, making him squeak "AH The FBI, I didn't do it, I was framed, I'm innocent, oh ho..." he rolled out of his chair onto the ground, hitting his head. "Ouch!" In the meantime, Liz was rolling on the ground laughing her lungs out.

"Haha." Mello rolled his eyes, not finding his pain too funny.

"Ugh..." Matt rubbed his head. "I feel like a heatlamp..." he groaned feverishly, crawling back into his chair.
Liz looked up at Matt. "Bitch, get on the couch. I'm gonna go find the thermometer and take your temperature."
"Good luck trying to hold me still."
"Would you rather me put it up your ass like a bitch?"
"...No."
"Then I think you'll stay still on your own."

"If he was a bitch, he'd have a mangina, Liz." Autumn laughed.

Liz rolled her eyes and looked for the thermometer. Upon finding it, she sat on top of Matt and held him down while he squirmed, clamping his jaws shut, trying to keep her from putting the instrument in his mouth. Eventually, she pried his mouth open and put the instrument inside of his mouth. Whining, he sat as the numbers went up, and then the thermometer beeped three times. Taking it out, Liz's eyes widened. "104.5..."
