Death Note- Another Note Chapter 2

"I'll stop when I get another bottle of syrup. It's my cocaine. My peanut butter jar, whatever the hell you want to use."

Light just sighed and looked around. "I think you might have gotten it all..."

"Liz!" Mello scramed quickly, noticing something was in fact much worse than before.

(Whoops...just noticed this now)
Liz trotted into the bathroom. "What's wrong?"

"It's Matt...." Mello cried out, starting to wheep. He picked her up off of the floor. "FIX HIM!"

"Damnit...." Bai sighed. "C'mon, cuz your husband is going."

Liz took Matt's limp form in her arms. "Well, he definitely has it. I can tell--look." Matt's normally dark blue eyes had turned a shade of golden yellow, and his pupils were small as pinpricks. "We don't have much time left. I'll need to go quick and get the cure but...there's one problem."

"If it fixes him, I don't care how illegal or weird it is."

"N-no, its just...I don't have The Team to get me there."

"The team? What's this team?"

"My catsledding team. I don't have a car, so I use them."

Mello sighed. "You can use my car if you have to."

"I trust my team more than any car." Liz said. "And, I know exactly how to bring them here. I've been wanting to for a while."

"Well then bring them here, damnit!"

"Alright, alright," Liz sighed. "To do it, I'll be gone for a little bit. It might take anywhere from a few hours to a day to get them ready. But it won't take long, promise."

"It better not take long!" Mello replied sharply before leaving the room.

"Hurry up, Ryuzaki!" Bai ran faster, now running backwards. "I'm running as fast as I feel."

Liz watched him go and sighed, thinking deeply over the situation.

Mitheel was running right behind her, Dimitri beside her, and Andromeda and Jessamine were tagging along behind. Ivory was taking a different way, a shortcut of sorts.

Bai was now at the darkness of her house. She paused quickly. "Quick, someone give me their wrists or their leg. My parents want me to at least think I hurt someone."

"You want me to give you my leg?" Mitheel asked. "I kinda need it..."

"I just need to slit it is all." she replied, pulling out her small knife.

Mitheel whimpered and ducked down, not wanting to be hurt. Dimitri sighed and stepped forward. "I'll do it. I'm not eas-s-sily hurt."

Bai smirked, slitting his leg long and dramatically. The knife curved around Dimitri's calf, making an unusual sound.

Dimitri flinched, feeling uncomfortable but no pain. [He has a syndrome which makes him unable to feel pain."

"This makes me deeply mad, but you're safe." L was watching the cut as it was being finished, Bai talking to herself.

Dimitri just looked up at Bai. "Are you done?" he asked impatiently.

Bai frowned, "I prefer to take my murders slow in the beginning." Her kinfe slipped away, blood stained on it once again. "BB! I got another bloody knife!" "Bring it here!" He called eagerly.

"Murder?" Dimitri shifted uncomfortably. "You never told me that you were going to kill me," he muttered.

"I'm not, but he'll at least think someone died." Bai replied, showing the knife to her father, whom had arrived outside. L and BB began a staring contest. "What...the-hell?" Beyond asked himself.
