Matt fiddled a little uneasily with his gloves. Suddenly, he felt a warm furry body pressing against his leg. Shasta. "Hello, girl," he grinned, picking her up and keeping her in his arms.

"Shasta? I'm not really sure, Liz suggested it to me. She said she's had a long line of impressive pits, all with the prefix "Shasta"...whatever a prefix is," Matt mumbled, petting the dog's ears.

Shasta leaped from Matt's arms and then padded out, hearing Oliver's call to come and play. Matt watched her go. "Well gee, I guess she isn't so interested in me anymore, now is she?"
