The Mysterious Notebook Of Murder~Chapter I

"I think it's 90% chance she's lying." Mello gave his opinion and sat down on the ground. Autumn laughed at the torture Liz was getting from the boys.

"Oh well. Oliver loves me, and that's all that matters, isn't that right baby?" she cooed, petting Oliver's head.

"95%....." Mello repeated somewhat twice. "We seriously need to get moving."

"Yeah. You're right. Let's go find a hotel or something, I don't feel like camping out tonight." Stretching, Liz got up, summoning her cat to her side.

"Me either," Jon sighed, cracked his knuckles and walked next to Liz. Autumn randomly did something.

Liz started to walk off farther into the city, her cat at her side.

Silence filled the night sky as the group was walkin' through the city. "Well this is boring," Autumn sighed. "I want something good to happen."

Beyond paced, trying to think of how it happened. "It's impossible....we were safe." B just sat on a tree branch, holding her stomach and moaning. "Why don't we just go find a motel and figure it out later?" Beyond grabbed B and pulled her onto his back, carrying her.

Liz started humming "Perfect Isn't Easy," and Matt sighed, still staring at the still-sleeping dog in his arms, wondering about her past.
"You know," Liz started to say. "When this is over, we'll have to go home. School is starting soon and...my family is gonna want to know where I am."

"Good luck with that." Mello sighed, munching on a chocolate bar.

"I want you to come with me." she said softly.

"Whoa, why the hell would I? We've been trying to hide from.....yeah, that's a good idea."

Liz looked over at Mello. "Well, you would be in an entirely different demention...and when school starts, my step-dad will probably be home more. And he's scary. He yells at me and sometimes hits me with stuff."

Mello growled. "I hate that kind of stuff. Mind if I were to shoot him one day?"

"Maybe when we get the death note back we could write his name in it so people don't get suspicious?" Liz asked.

"We're gonna need to get it before we leave."

"Yes. That gives us...three months. School starts in three months."

"Jesus. That's gonna be kinda hard, considering certain things..."

"Certain things? Like what?" Liz asked, eying Mello suspiciously.

"Private things!" Mello wasn't so....mello at the moment.

"Oh, okay. If you feel like telling me, you can. I won't tell anyone."

"Nah, I'm fine."

"That's fine, I'm your psychiatrist," she said, suddenly grabbing Matt's gloves and pulling them off his hands.
"Hey!"
"I am your doctorrr, I will touch you in places that you don't know how to pronounceee~"
"Gimmie my gloves back!"

"I swear you're mental in the head, Liz."

"Of course I'm mental in the head, I can't exactly be mental in my legs now can I?"
"Give!"
"Only if you let me use your goggles as a stethoscope."
"What? No!"
"Then I'm keeping the gloves. You got some long ass gloves, Matty."
"Don't call me Matty! And I know my gloves are long."

"Just give him his damn gloves so I don't have to hear him whine while I'm sleeping..." Autumn said to Liz grogilly (SP? Wtf...) as she sat down on a bench.
