Matt didn't care about the DS--frankly, he didn't care about anything. Wrangling him into her arms, Liz grabbed him, tying his arms behind his back and pressing him down. "Calm down, if you stop squirming I'll carry you."

"Hey, that's my job." Mello growled, then walked off with Autumn on his back.

Liz laughed. "Of course." After a while, Matt calmed, letting Liz hoist his tall, lanky frame into her arms.

"Is it me, or did Matt get talle-" "Shut up, please." Mello sighed out, almost dropping her.

"I don't think Matt's grown much, considering he's 19 and should have stopped growing some time ago," Liz noted, Matt staying quiet in her arms.

"It looks like it's gonna pass over soon." Autumn replied to Liz.

"I hope. He may not be heavy, but once you carry Matt for a while, he feels heavy."

"He probably is." Autumn laughed, Mello heaving. "God, you're fa-" "DON'T SAY I'M FAT I WEIGH 95 POUNDS!"

Liz grinned. "Oh Mello, don't you know, you never tell a girl she's fat. If she says she is, you tell her she's not, even if she's the fattest girl in the whole world. It's like, a rule engraved into the minds of every guy in the whole world, of every demention."

"Oh well, cuz she's a little heavy is all."

Liz just laughed and kept on going, hoping they'd reach a city or something soon. Oliver trotted faithfully behind her, stopping once and a while to shake the water from his long, thick coat.

"Autumn, you're gonna break my back eventually." Instead of asking her to get off, Mello threw her off. "Jerk!" Autumn sighed out, from landing on a thousand twigs.

"Let's not break Mello's back, then someone'll have to carry him too," Liz groaned, rolling her eyes.

"So? I don't wanna walk anymore. My feet are just killing me." Autumn sighed out, got up, and jumped on Mello's back again. "I thought I told you to get the hell off me!" Mello whipped around, threw her against a tree.

"Can we not fight?" Liz hissed. "If its that much of a deal to you Autumn, you can ride on Oliver."

"I just like messin' with Mello is all. He's on his man monthly probably." "AM NOT!!!"

"Autumn, you know you can't have a monthly unless you have a uterus...which I don't think Mello has..."

"Actually, it's sbeen said that dudes go through a week in the month of mood swings at random." Autumn replied.

"Huh. Hey look, do I see city light?" There were bright, flashing lights in the distance, and Liz could see them.

"Possibly." Mello replied to whoever spoke. Autumn followed behind him, on Jon's back this time. "I hate carrying you Autumn." "And I hate you for that."

Getting tired of carrying Matt, and noticing the storm had passed, Liz untied his arms and let him go. Matt was now capable of walking without running off, and he trailed behind the gang, not really wanting to face anyone now.

"I'm hungry." Autumn complained, dropping off of Jon's back. "Thanks," Jon replied. "I needed that."

"I have gummy bears, but they're mine." Liz tore open the package to the candies and began to eat them.

[One thing I forgot to tell you about Jonathan--He is dangerously addicted to peanut butter and peanut related products. He also has extreme Arachnophobia.]

"Screw you." Autumn growled, scavenging for food in her pockets. "Imma steal some, kthanks." Autumn took a few and stuffed them in her mouth.

"Hey!" Liz growled and spun around, her back facing Autumn. "Mine!"
