"Owch! Augh, darn stairs," she hissed, standing up and shaking her head.

Miranda laughed silently at her sister tripping.

Bai's eyes widened as she heard Mello calling for Mitheel.

"MITHEEL. C'MERE!"

Mitheel gently pulled away from Bai. "Well...come whenever you're ready." Mitheel sighed, and began to walk back to the house.

Liz groaned again, lying across the couch. "Ugh...I really want...pickles for some reason."

Bai sat against a fallen branch, drifting off to sleep.

"Me too, Liz." Mello suddenly replied.

Liz got up and went to the fridge to see if they had any pickles. Nada. Liz sighed.
"We need more pickles."

Liz shrugged. "Dunno." She suddenly stiffened as a white car rolled into view. "Oh no..." she dove behind the couch.

"What is this?!" she flinched as she heard him yell, closing her eyes.
"I'm sorry," she whimpered. "I had to bring them here..."

The man reached over the couch and grabbed Liz, who squeaked. He sent a smack to the side of her head, and she whined, backing up to the couch.
"I-I'm sorry..."
"Have you done your chores yet?"
"N-no sir, I'm sorry--" she squealed as his foot came in connection to her ribs. Wincing, she thought That'll be a bruise...

Liz watched as he stomped off, shivering and crawling up on the couch.
