Death Note- Another Note Chapter 2

Suddenly, she broke out into tears and crashed to the ground, in the fetal position but without the weird thumb sucking.

Mitheel crouched down beside her. "It's okay," he whispered, gently moving the hair out of her eyes. "What's wrong?"

She looked Mitheel dead in the eye, her eyes giving her most dead stare. "I want to kill something....someone that I know...myself. I can't stand the fact that I have to be around normal people everyday. I don't like it, Mitheel. I hate it!"

Mitheel's eyes softened. Her words didn't frighten him in the least. "Don't worry, Bai. Soon, we'll be back in our own demention. We'll be able to leave, and it will be just us. We can go somewhere far away, where we don't have to do this anymore..."

She rolled around on her back. "Your lying. Don't lie to me. We'll be stuck here. I just know it."

"We're not stuck here, Liz will get this over soon. I know she will," he whispered. "Then we'll go back, and everything will be fine. I promise, Bai."

Bai sat up now, taking one last slice at her arm. 12 bleeding wounds ran up her left arm, 10 on the right.

Mitheel watched her. "Please don't die," he pleaded with her.

The knife was stabbed into the ground, fresh blood trickling from the handle slowly. "Fine."

Mitheel grinned and stood up. "We'd better get back now. My parents are probably wondering..."
Matt's eyes widened. "Hey Liz, a car pulled into your driveway," he told her, and Liz crawled over to the window and looked out.
"Oh well...here goes nothing," she sighed.

Mello looked around. "Oh shit, was I supposed to do something?"

Bai didn't stand up. Instead, she looked up at him.

"No, you're fine," Liz told him, sliding out of the door.

Mitheel offered a hand. "Need help?"

Bai cocked (-snicker-) one eyebrow. "No. I need help to get home, Mitheel."

Mello sighed. "K."

His arm receeded to his side. "Well maybe we can convince Liz to take us back..." he murmured.

From the window, Matt could see the rest of Liz's family greeting her, then Liz running to the house and running inside. "Everyone, act normal." she said.

"It's hard to act normal, Liz." Mello retorted, sitting in his famous chocolate-eating position.

Bai sighed. "The easiest way is to die."

"Oh well, do it," Liz said, jumping on the couch and curling up there. The first one to enter was her younger brother, Reggie, who walked in and looked at the group calmly. Noticing Jonathan, he waved. "Hey Jay."

"Hey, Reggie." Jon replied, looking at Liz and smiling.

Liz grinned and snuggled close to him.
Matt blinked as he looked at Reggie. "What are we, chopped liver?"

Mitheel frowned. "But we can't always take the easy way, can we?"

"Probably so," Jon replied. "He doesn't normally notice anything new."

"If you want to die, then yes."

Liz nodded. "I can vouch for that." the next to enter was Brianna, who frowned.
"You brought them but not Misa?" she whined.
"Misa sucks, get over it," Liz snapped at her.

Mitheel crouched beside her, yet again. "Bai...I don't want you to die. I love you."

"God, what's with us? Are we like, a pile of dog shit?" Mello snapped.

"And I lve you too. But I don't like living."

Liz put her hand over Mello's mouth. "Shh," she said. "Here comes my mom." unlike her siblings, her mother walked in, eyes wide. "Who are they?"
"I'm Matt!" Matt said, waving.

"You idiot." Mello muttered. "Mello."

Liz grinned slightly. "Hey mom, I also gotta tell you something..." Liz walked over to the stairs and yelled "KIDS!" responding to her call, Flame, Ice, and Rosibell almost flew down the stairs. "These are mine."
Her mother paused for a moment, before walking off. "Why am I not surprised..."

"This is why I'm glad I'm an orphan." Mello snorted, eating a little bit more chocolate.
