Death Note- Another Note Chapter 2

"That's good." Liz collapsed on the couch, and Flame, Rosibell, Ice, and Mellenda busied themselves by checking out the entire house.
Matt sat in the big plush green rocking chair by the couch. Rocking back and forth, he grinned. "Comfy!"

Miranda sat in a corner, sulking. She felt depressed at the moment. Bai leaned down. "Are you alright, Miranda?" "No. My stupid sister acts like I'm worthless." "Suck it up." Bai stood back up, walking outside and disappearing.

Liz squirmed on the couch, gripping her stomach. "Ugh...sick," she hissed, running to the guest bathroom and emptying her stomach in the toilet.

Mello stopped eating suddnely, a disgusted look on his face. "Ew," He remarked, then threw away his trash.

Groaning, Liz rubbed her stomach. "I must've eaten something..." she remarked, rubbing her mouth off on a spare towel.

"Probably all the shit you ate before you travelled...." Jon muttered under his annoyed breath.

"That was a bad idea..." Liz curled back up on the couch and sighed. "Hey Matt, mind being a lookout?" she asked.
"Whatever." Matt turned to look out the window.

"Lookout for what?" Mello asked softly. His phone vibrated. "Shit, I forgot I had this..."

"Someone's calling you~" Liz chimed, grinning.

"Oh shut up." Mello responded. "It's a text idiot."

NEW TXT MSG FROM:

Bai

Tell Mitheel I love him and that I'm sorry.

"Oh. Can I see~?" Liz asked, peering over Mello's shoulder.

Mello shut the phone instantly. "No."

"Darnit." Liz slid back to her lying position, sighing.

"It's private stuff anyway." Mello got up. "Shit, where's Mitheel?"

"Uh...in the backyard, I think," Liz replied. Mitheel was sitting in the backyard, petting Thomas, smiling.
"What a cute little dog you are."

"Mitheel, do you know where Bai went?"

Mitheel shook his head. "No. Why?"

Mello pulled out his phone. "She sent me this." He held the phone out in front of his face, revealing the message.

Mitheel's eyes widened at the message. Something wasn't right...
"I'll be back." Mitheel went out to the front yard, running over to Oliver. Holding out his house key, he let Oliver sniff it. "Track," he said, and the cat darted off. Mitheel followed him close behind.

Bai, deep in the woods, polished the knife. One by one, she slit a little bit of her two arms. She traced the marks up her arms with the ame knife, creating a gash.

Oliver kept tracking her scent, and soon, Mitheel could smell the scent of blood. His stomach lurched as he wondered if it was too late. "Bai!" he screamed as loud as he could. "Bai, where are you?!"

The knife dropped. "Go away." She murmured softly under her breath. "Go away now.."

Mitheel's eyes widened as he saw her. "Bai, what are you doing?" he asked, running up to her.

She stepped back as much as she could. "Leaving my life. I hate it." Bai's voice was soft, alluring. She spoke with confidence and death.

"Bai...don't do this," Mitheel told her. "You don't have to do this..."
