Matt gently rubbed his lover's back, sighing.

"...What? I didn't say you had to do the dishes now did I?"

"Is...something the matter with you? You're kinda spaced out..."

"I dun think this is just the you know what...." Mello said concerned liike.

"Hm? I'm not spaced out! Psh....." Bai spaced out once more.

"I'm starting to think that too..." Matt murmured softly.

"Well that didn't mean you had to do them."

"Whatever you say," Mitheel laughed, rolling his eyes.

"I'mma need to go to the doctor later anyway..."

"Where are we anyway?"

Matt had the smallest fear arise that it was the disease he had so long ago, but he shook it off. Mello wasn't running a fever, was he?

"How am I supposed to know?"

Mello sighed, rubbing his forehead. He normally did that when he was nervous now.

"Hey, I'm sure it'll be fine," Matt told him. "Its probably something small..."

Liz ran her hands across Oliver's fluffy pelt.

"You did it again!"

"I'm praying to a fucking Shinigami it is."

"I'm sorry...." Bai sighed deeply, then sat down on the Earthly grass.

Matt just sighed and began to pace.

Mello grooved red marks into his arms, scratching back and forth.

Bai's eyes turned to bloodshot under the stress. She looked down at her own flesh, thinking about killing herself.

Mitheel looked over at Bai worriedly. He could sense her stress. "You okay?"

She growled at the scent of fresh blood. Despite her parents being on death row, she knew they had something to do with it.

Mitheel frowned as he studied her face. "Bai? You okay?"

"No. I need to go out into the town. Take me there."

"Okay." Mitheel turned and set his sights for the town and started to descend down the slope towards it.

[.....Wanna switch back to multiple peopeles now?]

[Whatev.]

[Aw you ok?]

Bai sighed, standing up and sensing someone behind her.

Mitheel was back home, sitting on the couch, rubbing Lightning's ears.

Bai was shot. A bloody scream pierced from her throat and shot out into the air. The pain was like nothing else, she'd never felt what her victims had felt. She'd killed almost 300 people in her lifetime. Almost a year's worth.

Lightning's ears pricked and he sat up, hearing the scream. Mitheel gently ran a hand down his back. "Steady boy. It's probably just another victim." Unsettled, Lightning jumped from the couch and out the dogdoor, heading towards the scream.
