Things weren't too hard for Liz now. She hadn't been throwing up as often, but was still careful to try not and over-indulge herself.
Today, Liz was flopped on her bed, and she groaned as her stomach let out a loud, angry growl. "Jay!" she yelled.

Dark bags were under his eyes as he walked toward Liz's room. "What?"

Mello howled in pain. "Shit!!!"

Bai looked over at Mitheel, her eyes glowing red. They were permanent red now, no longer changing. "Did Mello ever find out?"

"I'm hungry," Liz told him. "I want pickles. Now."

Matt ran into the *insert room Mello is in here!*. "What happened?" he asked worriedly.

Mitheel shook his head. "Nope."

"IT'S YOUR FAULT! he screamed. Mello was dreaming. Again.

Jon jumped at Mello's scream. "Fine, little miss princess."

"Are you sure...? Because..." the scream interuppted her thoughts. "Wait...what was I saying?"

Matt put a hand on Mello's shoulder and shook him, like Mello used to do when Matt had nightmares. "Mel? Mel wake up," he said.

Liz grinned. "Thanks."

"How was I 'spossed to know?"

Mello was awakened by a hand, so naturally, he flipped the person touching him. "Oh...sorry..."

"Yeah yeah." Jon handed her the pickels.

Bai wrapped her arms around his neck, scars showing instantly.

"Ah!" Matt howled as he fell, then got back up. "It's alright."

"Thanks," Liz grinned, munching on one of them. Normally she hated pickles, but now she craved them.

Mitheel gently ran his hands across the scars, frowning.

"Kay." Mello dozed off again, his mouth twitching like a rabid dog.

"God, your gonna get fucking fat if you eat everything." Jon retorted. "I haven't eaten in 3 days. Thanks,"

"That's not what I had in mind, but alright." Her arms dropped to her side.

Matt curled up beside him, ready to wake him if he started screaming again.

"Well, you not eating isn't really my fault," Liz snapped back, crunching on another pickle.

Mello's forehead sweated slightly, beads of it dropping to the pillow.

"You ate EVERYTHING in the house! You've been making me take care of you!"

"It's fine." Her voice got darker. This normally happened when she was mad.

Matt gently ran his hand across Mello's shoulders.

"So-rry," Liz whimpered, finishing off the last one and slumping over on the bed.

Mitheel leaned in close and gave her a gentle kiss, then pulled back. "Forgive me?"
