It wasn't long before the people over at the Institution for the Creation of Weapons (ICW, that's what they're really called) heard of Sampson's death. Then, they went into an uproar, trying to find the culprits. They had a good idea whodoneit, and they had set a clever trap, one that a certain red wolf was about to walk in to.
Now, it was instinct for a wolf to go for an easy meal. So when Matt saw the food, just sitting there, it was his instinct to grab it. Unknowingly, he walked right into a cage trap, and once he realized it, the trap had already sprung, trapping the wolf inside. There was no escape.

Matt's ears pricked up as he heard his name, and he howled out louder than he did before, but was stopped by the sound of footsteps. A face peered down into his cage and smiled.
"Well, Weapon 241. Fancy seeing you here." Matt snarled at his old name in disgust and tried to snap the man's face through the bars.

"I heard him this time." Mello darted for Matt now, tryinq with every strenqth to find him. I don't want to lose you aqain Matt.... Bai simply shruqqed, now followinq him.

The man spat at him and heaved the cage into his arms, causing Matt to howl and tried even harder to throw it out of the man's arms, but he was too strong and kept a tight grip. "Don't even try," the man growled, and before long the wolf was dumped into the back of an ever-familiar truck, going back to the hell he had just escaped.

Mello's eyes had to be decievinq him. He watched Matt beinq carried away, back to hell. He was only in shock...and couldn't stand it.

They had him chained up to a wall by a metal collar on his neck, all four feet tied to the ground. The director was trying to get Matt to tell them where the others were, but he refused to open his mouth. Finally, the Director was pissed. "We have ways of making you talk, dog," he snapped, kicking the red wolf in the ribs. Matt snarled and snapped at him, then froze as he realized what the Director was going to get.
A bucket of water. Bastard.
The man sneered as he filled up a turkey baster and placed a few drops between the wolf's ears, and watched as he nearly did flips trying to get away. "Now will you talk?"
"Never!"

Mello raced toward Matt, throwinq off his shoes and not qivinq a damn. Tears threatened to fall from his eyes, but he wasn't qoinq to qive in. Not yet...

Matt whined and licked at his hands and pawed at the cage. He was too weak to break out of it, multiple wounds where he had obviously been kicked too hard or hit with something.
