"Ah, shut up," Matt growled playfully as they continued on. He soon reached a rocky side of the hill that the center had rested on, and his ears twitched. "I wonder if there's a city or something down there..."

Nodding, Matt decided to descend the rocky hill. I was a bit easier for him, seeing has he had four legs to be able to navigate himself instead of just two.

Matt just shrugged and sighed as he watched Mello skid down the hill, wondering exactly how long it would be before he fell or something.
As Matt continued to descend, his sensitive ears quickly picked up the sounds of cars and people. Yes, a city was nearby.

Matt considered turning into his human form to smoke, but he decided not to. Not while Bai was around. She was keeping him on the edge, with her strange scent and strange behavior.
"Mello, we need to keep going," Matt said suddenly, getting up and padding past the leather-clad blonde. "Really. We can't just afford to sit around up here...what if someone comes back?"

As much as Matt distrusted the girl, he had to trust that Mello was making a good choice. Huffing, he continued down the side of the hill, tail angrily lashing as he walked on. He didn't notice that he was on straight course to a pond until he literally walked into it.
Letting out a howl that could have woken the dead, all his senses went berserk as the poor, hydrophobic wolf tried to find some way out of the pond.
"M-Mello! HELP!" he howled, not finding anywhere to climb out.

"You just aren't that bright...." Mello sighed, pulling his friend out of the water. "Maybe you should....change back, you know. Just so you don't fall into anymore water." Mello replied, shaking off his gloves.
