Densetsu Ryuusora No Handbook
The Plot
¢ The Ryuusora. An ancient line of warriors saying to have descended from Kurieitā, the creator himself. The best warriors of the world they live in…or so they thought.
¢ Enter the Ninjō (bloodbath), a group of psychotic yet well-organized warriors.
¢ Enter Rye, from the Ryuusora, and Hellion, from the, Ninjō two brothers that never should have been created or even born.
¢ Enter two war-crazed leaders and you have a problem.
The Good- Rye Ryuusora
¢ Name: Rye Ryuusora
¢ Gender: Male
¢ Color: Black and red; green eyes
¢ History: Rye was born into a pure Ryuusora bloodline…or so he thought. He believed that his father was Izure and his mother was Hana…but he was wrong. He met his real mother, Hasu of Ninjō bloodline, right before she dies in the first chapter of an illness, when she tells him she is his mother and he has a brother. At first, he doesn’t believe her, but when he meets a headstrong male cat with markings similar to his, he begins to believe what she had told him.
¢ Unfortunately, no good was to come of this find. Ketsueki, the leader of the Ninjō and Hasu’s supposed mate, becomes enraged. He vows to kill every single one of the Ryuusora bloodline. This rages war between the two families.
¢ During this time, Haunter, Rye’s mate mistakenly blames a Ninjō attack on Hellion, believing that he attacked her mate, and exiles him from Ryuusora lands. This sends her best friend Eagleflight (Eagle) into a rage and she goes to find him. While doing so, the Ninjō attack her. Despite her best efforts, she is outnumbered. While one of the Ninjō family cats almost kill her, Hellion storms into battle, killing all but one of the attacking cats. He takes her back to the Ryuusora to be treated, and as Haunter is about to fight Hellion for returning, Rye breaks the fight up, telling her that Hellion never attacked him.
¢ During the final battle, as Rye musters up all of his dying force to try and attack Ketsueki, Rye and Hellion’s power merges, creating a massive explosion of power, killing Ketsueki and injuring both of them further. Fearful of his death, Rye pleads for Hellion to end his pain. Hellion refuses and takes Rye for treatment, where the cat survives. His kits (seen in the sequel) are Sora, Blue, and Kai.
The Good- Hellion Ninjō
¢ Name: Hellion Ninjō
¢ Gender: Male
¢ Color: Black and red, blue-brown eyes
¢ History: Most of it is exactly the same as Rye’s, except he thought his father was the leader of the Ninjō and his mother was Hasu.
¢ Another part that differs from Rye’s history is what Hellion did during his “exile.” During that period of time, he felt horribly torn and mistaken. He felt lonely and had curled up under a tree when he heard Eagleflight’s cries. Rushing to her aid, he quickly saved her from the attacking warriors, by killing all but one.
¢ After the final battle, Hellion meets up with her and she confesses her love for him. Confused, the tom runs from her at first, but eventually confesses to her at the end of the manga. His daughter is Skylar and his son is Kitsune.

The Good- Haunter Ryuusora
¢ Name: Haunter Ryuusora
¢ Gender: Female
¢ Color: Pure black, with multiple piercings; light violet eyes
¢ History: Haunter was born into a pure Ryuusora family, to the current matriarch and patriarch of the family. She got teeth in her tail from a dog attack, and the teeth in her collar are from fallen enemies.
¢ During the whole Rye-Hellion-Ketsueki ordeal, Haunter is pregnant, so she doesn’t want to take any chances. When Hellion comes from seemingly nowhere with a passed out and bloody Rye being carried by a patrol behind him, and blood all over his coat, Haunter assumes the worst. She believes she is protecting herself, Rye, and her unborn kits by exiling him.
¢ When Eagleflight runs off, Haunter doesn’t follow her, knowing this is something her friend has to take up for herself. However, when Hellion returns with her only hours later, knocked out and bloody, she assumes the worst again and prepares to attack Hellion, when suddenly Rye appears, breaking up the fight and telling her that he was never attacked by Hellion.
¢ Her kits, born immediately and quite unexpectedly after the final battle, are Sora, Blue, and Kai.
The Good- Eagleflight Nekomata-Ryuusora
¢Name: Eagleflight Nekomata (Later changed to Nekomata-Ryuusora)
¢Gender: Female
¢Coat: Dark brown with Tora-Ge markings; one violet one blue eye
¢History: Eagleflight was born to a wild female cat with an unknown name and a Nekomata (cat monster) by the name of Arashi. Because of this, Eagleflight has a second form; a saber toothed cat that she can only morph into on full moons. At the time when she met Hellion, she warned him that she could easily kill him, since it was full moon. He didn’t believe her, but she decided not to show her full strength.
¢It didn’t take long for Eagleflight to form a tight relationship with Hellion. Before long, they were hunting together and sleeping next to each other, sharing a den on warm nights. Eagleflight was unsure what to call this, since she had never felt something like this for a tom since her father died.
¢It was not until after Hellion was exiled did Eagleflight truly realize they were more than friends. She got angry with Haunter’s decision to exile Hellion and went to find him. During that time, she was attacked by a group of warriors from the Ninjō, and because it was not full-moon, she could not defend herself. She was afraid she was going to die without telling Hellion she loved him, and as a result let out a loud cry. Hellion, thankfully, heard her cry and came to her rescue.
¢After the final battle, she confessed her love for Hellion. The confused tomcat ran from her, and she made the remark “Damn…he’s fast.” she goes back to the Ryuusora camp, and there Hellion approaches her and answers her remark with a kiss. Eagleflight is delighted that he feels the same, and the manga ends in a large screenshot like picture of the entire group; in that picture Eagleflight is seen pinning Hellion, making the remark “Hah! Pinned ya again.” (seeing that upon their first meeting she tackled and pinned him)

The Bad- Ketsueki ha Ninjō
¢ Name: Ketsueki ha Ninjō
¢ Gender: Male
¢ Coat: Silver with white paws; red eyes
¢ History: Ketsueki was born into a tough family. He was forced to care for himself as soon as he could eat solid food. He never received any love. Through many forced matings, he has had many offspring; he thought Hellion was a result of one of them, but he was wrong. When he raped Hellion’s mother, she was already pregnant, and therefore it had no effect on her.
¢ As soon as Ketsueki learned that Hellion was not his, he sharply exiled Hellion quickly, almost killing him in the process. Throughout this entire manga, Ketsueki repeatedly attacks many of the members of the Ryuusora family, including Rye, Al (a secondary tomcat-Ketsueki killed him “for an example of what was to happen to everyone”) Eagleflight, and eventually Hellion. He almost led Haunter into a bear trap, but she got distracted by Rye and left.
¢ Ketsueki set up the attack on Rye so that it would look like Hellion attacked him, so that Hellion would be exiled, and have no choice but to go to Ninjō territory, therefore committing his own suicide. However, his plans were ruined by the attack on Eagleflight and Rye’s healing.
¢ Ketsueki’s last stand, his final battle, was fought against his family and the Ryuusora family. After he had defeated Hellion by slamming him into a tree and had fought with Rye to the point where the tom was physically and mentally exhausted, he was sure that he had won. He was about to make the killing move on Rye, when Hellion suddenly head butted him to the side. The two brothers let their power stored inside them since kits merge together, creating a huge explosion. The explosion killed Ketsueki, blowing his head clean off.
¢ Ketsueki’s story does not end here, however. A female that he had taken as his mate, Emma Rosa, had become angered at her beloved mate’s death. In that same chapter, we see Emma-Rosa run to her den, where she has three tiny kits. To the strongest, she says “Yes, little Ketsueki…you will take over your father and kill those dirty sluts…”
¢ Ketsueki has many children, but the only ones mentioned in the sequel are his daughters, Linda Rosa and Jaime, and his son Ketsueki ha II.
